My Approach
Every newborn session is relaxed, baby-led, and never rushed. We follow your little one's pace, allowing plenty of time for feeding, diaper changes, soothing, and all the snuggles in between. Your baby's comfort and safety will always be my highest priority.
Parents and siblings are always encouraged to be part of the session because these first memories aren't just about your baby, they're about your family becoming something new.

In-Home Lifestyle Session
Lifestyle sessions take place in the comfort of your own home and focus on authentic connection over posing. I'll gently guide you into natural interactions while documenting the quiet moments that make this season so special. Think cozy cuddles on the couch, rocking your baby, nursery snuggles, and the little moments you'll want to remember forever.
Home Studio Session
If you've been dreaming of those timeless newborn portraits with your baby peacefully wrapped or softly posed, my home studio may be the perfect fit.
The studio is a cozy photography space located at my home and thoughtfully designed specifically for newborn sessions. It includes professional lighting, wraps, blankets, and carefully selected props, allowing me to create the classic newborn portraits you see throughout my portfolio.
Fresh 48 Session
These sessions take place within the first 24–48 hours after your baby's birth, capturing the raw emotion and excitement of those very first moments together.
These sessions are relaxed and documentary in style, focusing on your family's genuine connection rather than posed portraits. Tiny details, first snuggles, siblings meeting their new baby, and all the little moments you'll want to remember forever.
Sessions take place at your hospital or birth center before you head home.

When should I book my newborn session?
The best time to reserve your newborn session is during your second or third trimester. Babies don't always arrive on schedule, so there's no need to worry about choosing the perfect date. Simply select a date on or shortly after your due date to reserve your spot.
I only accept a limited number of newborn sessions each month so I can remain flexible for early or late arrivals. Once your baby arrives, just send me a message and we'll schedule your actual session date.
When will my newborn session take place?
Most newborn sessions take place within the first few weeks after baby arrives, but there is no strict deadline. Every family and every baby is different, and we can plan your session around what works best for you.
How many photos will we receive?
You'll receive a minimum of 40 beautifully edited images from your session. I focus on delivering a full gallery that tells the story of this season, rather than limiting myself to an exact number of images.
Does using the studio cost extra?
No! Studio use is included with your newborn session at no additional cost.
You can choose between a cozy, natural in-home session or a session in my home studio in Burlington. We'll talk through what feels like the best fit for your family and the type of photos you're hoping for.
What should we wear?
I'll help with that! You'll receive guidance on what photographs beautifully, and you'll also have access to my client closet for moms who would like to borrow a dress for their session.
What if my baby is fussy or won't sleep?
That is completely normal, and there is no pressure for your baby to perform! Newborn sessions move at baby's pace, with plenty of time for feeding, changing, comforting, and snuggles.
